I can also email the Lat/Long georeferenced image to another user in another office located in another state and he may assign Indiana State Plane, NAD83, East Zone, US feet to modelspace. In contrast to the default CS of State Plane, assigning WGS84-LL84 will reference the image to a geographic coordinate system with units in degrees. I can, if I know how, override the default CS, by assigning WGS84-LL84 during the export. The image, in a case like this, it will be referenced against a projected coordinate system with units in feet. During the export procedure, this image's world file will adopt, or inherit, the host drawings current coordinate system, or IN83-EF.
